About the Author

Glen Hill is an Australian author, poet and songwriter whose writing draws on imagination, life experience and more than a few years at sea.

His work ranges from illustrated children’s books and science fiction to poetry and songs covering everything from humour and adventure to some of the harder sides of life.

Many of Glen’s children’s stories began as poems, while his songs grew from years of writing poetry and storytelling. Whether the subject is a wombat that won’t listen, life aboard an offshore vessel, a clown hiding sadness behind laughter, or a story set among the stars, the aim is the same - to tell a story worth remembering.

Glen lives on the NSW Mid North Coast, Australia, and continues to write new books, poetry and music.
